Apple's iPad Air M4 isn't just the best tablet here—it's the only one that can legitimately replace a laptop for most people. The M4 chip handles professional workloads that would choke Android competitors, iPadOS 18 with Stage Manager finally makes multitasking usable, and the Apple Pencil Pro turns this into a digital canvas that artists actually want to use. Lenovo's Tab P12 Pro offers the best display of the bunch with its gorgeous 12.7-inch OLED, but Android's tablet app ecosystem is still a wasteland in 2026. OnePlus Pad 3 is competent but unremarkable—there's no reason to choose it over the iPad unless you're allergic to Apple. If you're actually trying to get work done, the iPad Air is the only choice.
